Diese Seite beschreibt Anwendungen von GE vor allem auch aus Sicht von einfachen (Schweizer) Nutzern, die Office-Programme, wie MS Access, OpenOffice oder MS Access, einfache GIS - oder auch nur den eigenen Browser - nutzen wollen. Allenfalls kann man auf GPS-Geräte zurückgreifen oder die Daten können digital verfügbar gemacht werden. Ein Problem dabei ist, CH1903-Koordinaten nach und von WGS94 (GPS) umrechnen (transformieren) zu können mit Spreadsheets, MS Access, PHP, Java, etc.

Online Spreadsheets mit Koordinaten

What you want
Manage Points of interest (POI) in a simple spreadsheet (= a table) online by using just your browser. Share it with others (a group or with anybody or keep it private). View it in a browser (GeoRSS format) or with Google Earth (GE, KML format).
What you have
Data with coordinates either in WGS84 (GPS) coordinate reference system.
What you need
Internet access and an always-for-free EditGrid account; a browser and (optionaly) GE.

Tipps for users:

  • EditGrid can import MS Excel and OpenOffice and more.
  • If you have data in CH1903 (Swiss) look at the spreadsheet above, to conversion tools in this Wiki and to references to the authoritative source here from the Swisstopo.
